Turn Off the Light

Mini sculptures

A heat sensitive application for lamps that illustrates the abstract results of our actions. The shape is demolished by the heat from the lamp and the lamp acts as a reminder that heat is being wasted. It's an attempt to make abstract consequences graspable and encourages us to use a low-energy lamp.

Turn Off the Light was developed as part of my MA thesis at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm.
